In March 2007, the School of Tourism began managing a long-stay residence to accommodate foreign teachers. The fourth floor of the international dormitory was designed as a scholars’ dormitory, which provided support to all units.

Appointed full-time faculty from overseas, visiting scholars and specific individuals approved by the MCU president (providing teaching service of more than one month and a maximum of one year) are residents in this facility. The dormitory has a total of 11 rooms in three types, namely, one deluxe double room, two cozy family rooms and eight exquisite single rooms. Each room is equipped with such amenities as a small refrigerator and cable TV, wireless Internet access, etc.
